Last session, after securing the Petra Ichor, Al delivered it to Dr. Keth just before she left for evening. The party discussed their next steps but were interrupted by Brenwyn who came to clean the second broken statue. The party confronted Brenwyn about her snooping. She claimed desperation and asked for mercy. The party let her go, with Quix planting a rumor of discord. Only after she left did Al reveal he had spotted her lies.

Quix and Tusselawyth followed Brenwyn to Cold Slope in animal form, where she met another woman at a Gol stone house, but they were caught by a Gol and thrown out, though their cover held.

That night, the party dreamed: Al was confronted and punished by Gem. Perry and Arcash learned Ajax is not a saint of any known god. Quix saw a future weapon through Tusselawyth's vision. Shelby relived her first transformation from her trainer Illion and Ran'Kar heard his familiar lullaby with Ahde'l voice added. In the morning, some shared their dreams, others did not.

Quix discussed who Brenwyn met with, and Ran'Kar hinted that Brenwyn may be working with future allies. While the party took the day for themselves: Shelby and Aludial repaired Gus's bar. Arcash performed a solemn ceremony accepting his death vision with Sarmes and Adaska. Perry, playing "pizza rat," followed Entello to a sewer entrance near the Council of Saints. Ran'Kar learned Ah'del's brother now works with Wealsel. Quix learned the W&T barrels were created by Zira as bait to catch her parents' killers.

Mostly keeping to themselves, the party regrouped and went to dinner with Herald Laupin. Laupin remained oblivious to the danger, but his daughter Octavia was not. She maneuvered her family to gain a moment alone with the Stormbreakers, revealed her knowledge of their actions, questioned their motives, threatened them with the Hawklords, and then offered an alliance against the Praetor—providing encoded messages tied to Al's shipment.

And the party left. Having been slightly shaken by Octavia, but now set for a meeting with her uncle, The Collector.
