Last session, the party succesfully beat down the True Believers, knocking out both Nazria and The Preacher, but not before Perry was knocked out and Quix's curse flared transforming him into a mouse. But the fight was interrupted by The Channel announcing to the whole bar, that Hetdrelyn was now stable, but that he could still die and would never campaign again. In the confusion, both Wealsel and Rhegyth escape.

Quix and Ran'kar took Perry upstairs to check in on the doctors, while Al, Shelby, and Arcash remained downstairs cleaning up in an attempt to appease Gus, after Gus had lambasted Al for the all their actions. Upstairs, Dr. Salver revived Perry, and then disclosed to the party that Hetdrelyn has blood rot, and that while stable, his recovery is not guarenteed. Keth advisesd them that a medicine Petra Ichor, would cure the disease, but it would be difficult to acquire either from New Caelian doctors, The Collector or Cassian the Broker. The doctors left the room to give the party time to decide what to do and where to keep Hetrdrelyn in the meantime. Keth suggested fetching a maid Brenwyn to clean the room.

Meanwhile, a man approaches Shelby and Al, and attempts to sell them a map of secret tunnels to the castle. Al and Shelby quickly spot the con, and tell the man to walk away. Arcash strikes up a conversation with Sarmes, the Hakaan bouncer. While discussing, their different death vision, a Haakan campaigner, bloodied and grim, enters the bar. Having lost her entire party, all Haakan, she sits at the bar with a stiff drink, while the bar staff remove the name of "The Doom Sayers" from the sign of names. Arcash leads the short but somber hym that honors the fallen.

While trying to gather the party together, Quix and Shelby separately both spot the cat from the boat in a window. Shelby transforms into a bird and flies after the cat, while Quix concerned that Elto is around, rushes outside only to spot the a wode elf's silouette on the roof, and climbs to the top of the building followed quickly by Ran'Kar.

Shelby arrived on the roof first, to find a depressed Rhegyth and the cat. Rhegyth apologizes to Shelby, while Shelby stalls for time. Quix quickly arrives and in a rage attempts to telekentically shove her off the roof. Sensing the danger, the cat leaps onto Quix's face and claws him. Ran'Kar arrived and after a brief exchange, Rhegyth revealed that she had been fooled by Wealsel, her fence for many years, into believing that Theordore was lying about the rebellion. Rhegyth, shamed of her behavior again offered her apologies. Ran'Kar convinces her she can still do right, to make amends, and Rhegyth agrees to let the party use the boat.

The cat giving Quix a final hiss, smells him, and then leaps into his arms. Confused by this behavior, Quix reaches telepathically to the cat, who answers back. The cat reveals that it is Rhegyth's aunt, and she had been transformed into this form by Mortum 30 years ago, when she and Rhegyth had attacked a caravan. The group decided to return below.

Meanwhile, Perry, Al, and Arcash return to the room, and encounter Theodore who was waiting in the shadows. They discuss Rhegyth's and Wealsel's alliance, and that was the most likely source of the leak and the cause of the coup against Theodore. The rest of the party and Rhegyth returned, and Theodore melted back into the shadows.

Rhegyth recounted for the whole party, the lies and betrayal by Wealsel, but that she knew nothing of the coup against Theo. She also recounted how thirty years ago her aunt and her attacked a caravan transporting a barrel marked with W&T but Mortum was there and transformed her aunt into a cat.

Brenwyn arrived to clean the mess, and the party speaking in vagueries decided to send Hetdrelyn with Keth for safety. Quix went to arrange the details with Keth, Al made small chat with Brenwyn while helping with cleaning, and Arcash, Ran'Kar, and Shelby spoke at length with Adaska about the defenses at the castle, the army of Omund risen from the dead.

Quix, Al, and Perry worked with Dr. Salver to fake the death of Hetdrelyn, and brought him out in a stretcher, and the rest of the party followed the stretcher out into the night. The party walked to the Stables to meet Keth, but ran into Rick The Magic Guy who recognized Quix and ran to intercept them. Quix held him off and managed to arrange him later at the Philosopher's Respite, while Perry meorized a code that a plant that Rick carried constantly repeated. The party met Keth with Brother Entello who took Hetdrelyn off to safety, and Entello invited Ran'Kar to supper some night.

The party decided to investigate the mysterious plant and returned to the Stables to track down Rick. Upon finding Rick, he indicated that he made his delivery and pointed to a Wode Elf with furry red hair and a scared face with white eyes who appears to be blinded.
